I love food cooked in Dhabas. Besides the taste and flavor, the food brings the history of the place where it is cooked. We experienced the ethnic dishes sprinkled with a smile and warm hospitality at Eros New Delhi. The hotel curated a festival called Dhaba Iss Baar – Amritsar to Ambala, where they focused on dishes from Ambala, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandar.
Research – The team of Eros travelled all through the authentic dhabas of Punjab and created a culinary odyssey for guests.
Innovation – What we loved most was that all the dishes represent innovative flavors of the Dhaba of Punjab right from Ambala to Amritsar.
Covid protocols – Not only that extra Hygiene was taken at the hotel including sanitized cutlery, masks worn by the servers, sanitizers on tables, extra distance between tables.
Decorum – The highlight is the decor and usage of props like trucks, well, charpoys that bring together a harmony of colors and aroma.
Food Review – You can relish authentic dishes from Ambala, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandar. Most recommended dishes are Lawrence Road ka Paneer Tikka, Sarhadi Bharwan Aloo, Beera ka Roast Chicken, Mirch Pakodas, Malai Soya Chaap, Saag Makhani Kunna Gosht Patialashahi. Not to mention are the jalebis with rabri.Personal favorites were the chhole bhature, paneer paranthas, fish and paneer tikka. You can end the delicious meal with rabri, jalebi and Kadhai doodh.
