Delhi gets its first Pizzeria by Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver, a renowned name in the International food scene
recently launched the very first Jamie’s Pizzeria in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.
Following the passion & pride of Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Pizzeria is a happy
place for pizza lovers who do not compromise on quality, taste & price. 

Jamie’s Pizzeria was founded in the old Library in the Centre of
Cambridge. Currently there are two sites in the UK (Oxford and Cambridge)
serving traditional Italian Pizza’s, sides and desserts. All Jamie’s Pizzerias’
make fresh dough in store every day for the bases and these are complemented
with the best toppings in town.
 
Desserts are simple but delicious and the
drinks on the menu complement our pizzas. All of Jamie’s food is made with lots
of care, but delivered without a fuss in a beautiful way that encourages
customers to share and experiment. Rustic, simple dishes made from the best
seasonal ingredients drive menu development. The menu is a blend of traditional
best-selling Italian dishes and some more contemporary dishes with a Jamie and
Gennaro twist.
Very similar to Jamie’s Italian, the sites are rustic and have a
sense of being a part of the community. We have large open kitchens, displays
of hanging vegetables and our planks. Menus and design take into account local
ingredients and culture so there is always something new to experience. The
walls are scribbled with drawings and paintings giving the place a casual feel.
Jasper Reid, the spokesperson for Jamie Oliver’s restaurants in
India feels that India & Italy are very similar says, “In our Pizzeria, we
have introduced Jamie’s Delhi Hot which uses our secret chilli freak sauce
mixed with our Passata. This, topped with crushed tomatoes, mutton meatballs,
mozzarella and chilli. Our wild mushroom crostini is made with a creamy mushroom
sauce, rocket leaves, chilli, parsley and wild mushrooms.
Jamie’s Pizzeria has bagged 30K likes on Facebook just in a
month’s time. On opening its doors to everyone, the place keeps buzzing all day
with people chattering and enjoying smell of mouth watering pizzas from noon
till night with over 500 walk in just two days.
UK’s celebrated chef, Jamie Oliver is thrilled to launch his
restaurant brands – Jamie’s Pizzeria & Jamie’s Italian in India. The
high-street Jamie’s Italian, which has over 50 restaurants across the world and
Jamie’s Pizzeria with two sustainable eating restaurant brands abroad. Both his
brands in India are being promoted by a joint venture between International Market Management, a London investment company and Delhi’s
Carnation Hospitality.
