Chef Emiliano De Steffano entices taste buds with his delectable menu @ Prego

When it comes to foraging for the
freshest gourmet experiences, Prego @ Westin Gurgaon stands first. While the
staff pleases you with warm hospitality each time, the master chefs ensure your
palette is enticed and enlivened.

So here I was invited to witness
a delectable odyssey crafted by the talented Chef De Cuisine – Chef Emiliano De Steffano  @ Prego. Backed with 8
years experience, he has immense experience in crafting traditional Italian dishes.
 
His career path has been though luxury properties like The
Venice Hotel – 
China, Intercontinental
Hotel – Muscat and Hotel Executive – Italy. Besides that he has also served as a
successful Pastry and Sous chef .
Chef Deepak introduced Chef Emiliano De Steffano to the people from media while walking us through his culinary expertise. His latest entrants include dishes
that have been crafted with a dash of Mediterranean touch.
We were introduced to the chef
who has the most pleasant smile and were eager to dive into
pleasant aromas straight from Italy.
The Multi Property General Manager Mr.
Ashwini also joined us. The culinary odyssey began with flavorsome
dishes that were presented well and tasted great.
The Menu crafted by the chef
included –
Antipasti- Starter
 
Fuccacio Ranagnolastuffed with
parma ham, cherry tomato, buffalo mozzarella
Insalata- Chef’s special
vegetarian composition, assorted lettuce, raw grilled and pickled vegetables,
focassia bite
Seared scallops, panzanella,
eggplant mousse
Zuppe- Soup
Asparagus cream, toasted

Chef’s Signature Pasta Dishes
Ravioli di Gameroni alla
puttanesca- King prawn ravioli, anchovies, capers, garlic, taggiasca olives and
fresh tomato sauce
Calamarata
Hand crafted tagliolini,
pistacchio pesto, crunchy vegetable
Secondi- Main Course
Vegetable warm terrine
Cacciatore- freshly made chicken
stew, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and baby potatoes
Carre di agnello-Roasted
Australian rack of lamb, maple candied bacon, apple chutney

As the journey came to an end, I
bid the team goodbye and thanked the chef for such a lovely meal. From the beginning till the end, the dishes continued to capture our attention while we devoured them whole heartedly.
Westin team
ensures the guests are well fed and take back good memories. They handed a jar
of Tira Misu as a good bye gift to take back the sweetness and warmth of their
hospitality.
