Café After Hours – Brilliant Ambiance and Cuisine

After years of waiting for the
perfect place to enjoy a fine meal in a wonderful atmosphere in my sub city
Dwarka, I finally found a place that had the combination of both. Café After Hours in Dwarka Sector 12 is undoubtedly the best place to have a great meal in a comfortable
setting.

Opened a few days back, the café
has already started getting footfalls and table booking on weekdays. It has become
a preferred choice for a couple seeking solace, an office executive willing to
enjoy meal with colleagues or youngsters willing to chill out.
Café After Hours eschews the contemporary
seating arrangement and an ambiance to make your usual day enjoyable and
exciting. The restaurant has a very selective staff that is pleasant, efficient
and always very courteous.

The owner, Mr. Akash Gupta loves to make people happy by giving them a
great experience through food. His hard work definitely paid off looking at the
interiors and tasting the food.

Reaching the place is very
simple. Located near the metro station of Sector 12, the newly constructed City
Center Mall Dwarka has other restaurants coming up, but Café  After Hours shares a special space with its
impeccable interiors and music.
We entered the mall and took the elevator to
reach the first floor where we were greeted by the hospitable attendants.
The soft lighting, opulent
spacing between dining tables and the wide open space impressed me. The café
has a very luxe feel to it. A large Plasma screen with IPL running in it
immediately catches my husband’s eye. The large screen is an add-on factor to
the restaurant that makes dining fun and exciting.
The outdoors are as beautiful as
the indoors. We chose to sit outside enjoying the view and relishing the
aromatic mist. The menu is made in an uncanny newspaper format.
With a large
variety to peruse per page, we decided to let the Manager decide the hot
selling starters. We started with Tom Yum soup and
Chicken soup for the soul.

The former is a fabulous take on lemon grass that
mingles well with vegetables. However, the latter is a highly recommended one
as it is truly satiating and makes simple chicken soup more relishing.

The appetizer consisted of a plate
of nachos which was spicy and colorful because of the interesting dip to go
with it.
This dish was a great start. I loved the Amristari fish Tikka. It was
so tender and tantalizing that I devoured it till the last bite.
We relished our starters with
mocktails that the bartenders prepared for us. The Tomato bruchettas ordered
next was a perfect amalgamation of warmth and freshness.
Six pieces unlike the
usual bruchettas are served with cheese in a cute mini truck. Bruchettas might
be something you have had earlier, but these ones totally surpassed all of them
with respect to the presentation, taste and crunchiness.

The starters reflected the great
quality and freshness of the meal and we looked forward to the further review.

A delight to the taste buds was the Chicken Caesar salad and the Tabbouleh Salad. The freshness of mint, parsley, onion and tomatoes are mixed well with Bulgur Wheat. The seasoning is well accentuated making it
the perfect combination of taste and presentation.
The Grilled Fish with lemon
butter sauce is interesting in both presentation and taste. The fish is done
perfectly well while the dressing accentuates the taste.

I loved the Sharabi
Murg Tikka
that simply satiates the desire for crispy chicken glazed with rum
that is heated and then coated on the chicken. A work of art this dish truly is!The last epiphany of the rhythmic
tune was the dessert. A chocolate soufflé was the perfect ending to the meal.

The entire food review @ Café After Hours was an experience never to be forgotten.
