A beauty experience to be cherished forever – Geetanjali Salon, Dwarka

A day at the salon can be revitalizing. I reviewed
the Geetanjali salon at Dwarka and returned back feeling beautiful as ever.Geetanjali was started in 1989 by
Mr. Prem Israni and his wife Mrs. Neetu Israni, with the main objective of
beautifying people who are willing to experiment with their appearance.
Catering to pampering sessions like exotic facials, pedicures, body polishing
and hair cuts, the salon has gained a popularity in all these years.

The Salon:  Started three
years back, the salon is nestled in the quaint location of Dwarka’s sector 11 market. Geetanjali salon has an ultra-modern feel to it with state-of-the-art
facilities, offering premium professional brands like Bomb cosmetics, Loreal,
Lakme, etc. The relaxing atmosphere and elegant décor in black tone immediately
switched my mind-set into a laid-back gear. With private treatment rooms,
discreet zones for pedicures, open areas for hair treatment, this is the place
if you are looking for a dose of spa.

Geetanjali salon is buzzing with
people on weekdays and weekends. As the salon is quite spacious, it can easily
accommodate a good footfall on any day.  The
waiting area is quite spacious with a comfortable sofa in black placed at the
centre. The staff at Geetanjali is warm and hospitable. From the moment you enter
the salon, till the time you leave, an excellent hospitality is something you
are ensured of!

The Candy Bomb Pedicure
–  There are three pedicure stations with
comfortable chairs and large cushions to elevate the luxury factor. The Candy Bomb pedicure is the one you must
indulge in for a relaxing feet pampering session. It works in three steps using
three amazingly sinful flavors – A cleansing process with vanilla flavor, a vanilla
flavor foot scrub, a masque, and massage with strawberry cream.

The moment my feet were soaked in
the warm water, the tiredness and stiffness melted away. The cleansing started
with a Jasmine butter cleansing cream. The pedicurist massaged the cleanser in
a circular motion, followed by an exfoliation with vanilla flavor. Later, he applied
a nourishing masque that was perfect to soften the skin. The mask dries to a
chalky white, and is removed off before the same areas are given a luxurious
massage with strawberry cream. My toes were polished a lovely transparent shade,
and my pedicure lasted well over a week.

The Sara Rose manicure –
This one is necessary if you are looking for a serious hand pampering session.
The salt and rose petals dipped in water please your senses while the aroma
lingers for a long time. The Sara gel scrub
is softly scrubbed in circular motion that is then followed by a pack. After
washing it off, the hands are then pampered with a massage cream.
The Kerastase Experience Ritual Hair spa –
Hair Spa helps to make your hair strong, bouncy and shiny, while simultaneously
dealing with dandruff, damaged, and fall control. I definitely recommend a hair
spa at Geetanjali salon for beautiful well conditioned hair. The salon meets the
needs of all of the clients including color applications, sensitive scalp
issues, allergies and other issues.
The Kerastase Experience Ritual hair spa works like a
charm for coarse, dry, and damaged hair. Not to mention, the smell of the
product is terrific, and it will stay in your hair for few days.
The procedure began with a hair
wash, followed by an application of Concentrate
Oleo fusion mixed with Booster Ceramide
from root to tips. The relaxing head massage with this cream helped me relax. My
hair was then covered with the Oleo
Instant Force Architect pack, that
helps to restore moisture in couple of minutes and create a smooth,
shiny texture for the hair. After a while, this was rinsed off. It was followed
by the Oleo Relax Leave In Product for
hair protection in the end. I must admit that even after a couple of days  later, I can still see the positive effects
of the hair spa therapy. I can feel the glossy shine of my hair texture and
is much softer to touch.

 

Relaxed glow with Power C+ by Skindor – This treatment is the most
effective way to combat pigmentation. Concentrated Vitamin C improves skin tone
and complexion successfully by deactivating melanin. It is especially
recommended for skin with pigmentation problems or dull complexion. The facial promises
a firm quality of the skin, improving the general appearance of the sagging
skin contour while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.

After a brief cleansing
session in soft gently strokes, the beauty therapist used the SK enzyme scrub. The
C Power Vitamin C Ester Enzyme combines vitamin C Esters for an improved skin moisturization
that helped in exfoliating the damaged skin cells & optimizing the natural
balance of the skin. The unique blend of enzymes and amino acids with C Power gave
my skin a feeling of warmth that felt heavenly. A mask was followed that closed
the process and gave a fresh feeling. The facial experience was indeed the best
to remember.
