An afternoon soiree @ Chateau – Fine dining in vintage setting

soothe the eyes, open space that let visitors feel free and at ease. Chateau soothes your eyes the moment you step inside.

An afternoon filled with laughter
and delicious food was an event planned by the charming young host, Naman and his diligent
Marketing Manager Virat.
It was an unforgettable afternoon as we experienced
some delicately plated food items and chilled drinks to go with them.
Tucked neatly inside the lane on the Aurobindo Marg of Adchini market is Chateau that opens up to brilliant decor with smiling servers that ensure your experience goes unforgettable. The music and ambiance is world class while the vintage appeal makes it a place you can visit with your friends and family.
The afternoon
began with interesting smoothies & coolers plucked from their carefully
curated menu. They included Chateau Cooler, Chateau Spl. Drink, Shell On The
Beach and Virgin Mojito.
The Grilled Chicken Gouda Iceberg
Salad and the Sundried Tomato Salad were served first. Being a salad lover, I
could not get my hands off them and relished each bite.
The crunchiness of
vegetables plays off with the seasoning that is mild and not overpowering. The salads
were gone in a few minutes and we ordered for more.
The dishes that followed were in
veg and non vegetarian that looked appealing and tasted divine. The Butter
Filed Chicken & Breast Entress looked immaculate in presentation that give justice to taste as well. The chicken in the former dish was perfectly cooked.
I loved the Falafel Platter. The Hummus paired with it was just apt to go with the
falafel. The Eggplant Grilled & Filled with Beetroot Cheese Tapas stole my
heart with its delicate presentation. The taste was unconventional and
surprisingly very delicious.
The Involtini of Chicken Breast Serbed Tapas was
again very unconventional in both taste and presentation. The Tomato Balsamic &
Peri Peri Chicken Flatbreads made our heads turn with their impeccable plating
style. Each bite was divine. The flatbreads are a specialty of Chateau. The Beetroots,
Feta Cheese Flatbreads will steal anyone’s heart with their color and taste.
The Chicken Tender with Mustard Paprika Pizza & Primavera Mushroom Pizza was different from the ordinary and takes the taste to a higher level. I
missed on the Arroz Con Pollo Rice and Riso Primavera Fragrant Rice as I am not
a rice lover. But my friends were going gaga over the dishes.
The Spiced
Chicken Tagine is a must try dish for chicken lovers while the Mediterranean
Style Baked Tilpia is a perfectly done dish that is a mélange of great taste
and presentation.
We loved the variety of desserts.
The lemon cheese Pie is a sinful combination of cream and lemon that makes it scrumptious,
while the Date & Walnut Cake with Caramel Syrup is gooey yet scrumptious. The
taste of date cake is accentuated by the caramel syrup.
However, it was the Churros
Rolled IN Cinnamon Sugar that was the star of the show. The cinnamon was just
perfect and the churros were baked well. We had to order for two more plates.
Everything is spectacular about Chateau. you come here with expectations and leave the place with a fun filled experience.
