Revving up Christmas Celebrations at Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon

kick-started its Christmas celebrations by unveiling its Croquembouche
tree and Gingerbread house for this season. A croquembouche or croque-en-bouche
is a traditional French dessert consisting of choux pastry balls piled into a
cone and bound with threads of caramel.

The 15ft tall and 7ft wide,
Croquembouche tree is placed in the well-lit hotel lobby along with the Ginger
bread house which serves as the entry into the tree. Goodies and hampers are
placed inside the tree for purchase by overjoyed patrons. The tree will remain
in the lobby until December 30th, 2014.

 
Children from an NGO, Harmony House participated
in the celebrations and were treated to festive goodies.
These children, between 12 – 14 years revelled in the festive cheer.
 
Guests can also purchase customized
Christmas hampersranging from INR 2000 ++ onwards.  Some of the goodies included in the hampers
are homemade plum cake, panettone,stolenjacker chips, grisbi cookies, corne
snacks and a lot more.
