The Project at Park Balluchi – Exotic location and scrumptious food

Ever felt like dining amidst natural
habitat with flora and fauna at its best? The Project at Park Balluchi in Hauz
Khas Village brings to you a unique experience that is world class in it’s true sense. Wide
open area to dine both indoors and outdoors, well lit space, expansive area, the
Project at Park Balluchi is a restaurant which must be visited for an ultimate
dining experience.

The pristine surrounding of the Project
at Park Balluchi gives diners a fine dining experience amidst finer
surroundings. The restaurant has a huge seating capacity and is seen usually
frequented by food lovers on weekends. The Project at Park Balluchi is not a
new entrant but an old one refurbished to give a fresh take on world class
cuisine.
We chose to review the restaurant
on a weekend only to be surprised at the cover area of the place. While the
indoors would have been a good option to avoid the warm climate in the month of
May, we were left with no option but to dine outside.
The experience wasn’t a bad one
as the manager and the servers gave us prompt service. The number of servers is
good enough to beat a crazy day on a weekend that only accentuates the diner’s experience.
Friends, families, couples were
all seen enjoying a hearty meal away from the bustling scene of Delhi. The open
area carried a vibe that was friendly. The mist air fans placed outdoors made
the atmosphere cool and comfortable.
We started on with the drinks to
pave way for the restaurant review. Our choice of Cucumber and Basil cooler was
bang on perfect to quench thirst on a hot summer evening. A cucumber blended
with basil smothered with ice was a brilliant start. The orange and the basil
cooler was another drink we ordered that had a strong intonation of citrus
flavors mixed well with basil. Both the drinks turned out to be the most
flavorsome ones I have ever tried.

The deers in the adjoining deer
park were seen enjoying their freedom and space while we patiently waited for
the starters. Children and even parents were seen enjoying the sight of deers.
Although the light outside was dim, the servers did their best in helping us
with the menu.

The first starter that arrived was a delectable platter of non
veg starters that had grilled chicken and fish with dips and onions as
accompaniments. The manager suggested that we tried the signature Mozarella
bombs, a favorite for diners at the restaurant. The cheesy filling and the
crispy outer covering made the balls taste divine. The small pieces were
consumed rather quickly. Another starter I would like to recommend to my
readers are the Gourmet Bruchettas. Bruchettas might be something you have had
earlier, but these ones totally surpassed all of them with respect to the taste
and crunchiness.

The starters reflected the great
quality and freshness of the meal and we looked forward to the further review.
A salad made with freshly cut veggies spruced with lemon and herbs was a fresh
start. The crunchiness and aroma of celery, baby tomatoes, and lettuce left us
feeling tantalized.

The Classic Minestone soup with its tangy flavor was my
choice and I was quite pleased with it as it had a brilliant tangy intonation
with vegetables chopped finely.

A delight to the taste buds was the Four Cheese
and Sundried Tomato Basil Pizza. The thin crust of the pizza matches up with
the tomatoes and basil leaves as toppings making it the perfect combination of
taste and presentation.

We had to conclude the meal
courtesy the humid climate that began riding on our senses. I would call this
experience good in terms of service, quality and food.

If you would like to
enjoy a fine dining experience in Hauz Khas, choose Project at the Park Balluchi for its
immaculate setting and open surrounding. The indoors are best to enjoy a meal
in summers while the beauty of the outdoor landscaping and surrounding is best
experienced in the cold winter months.
