Sublym – Beyond expectations

Winters have
arrived and there can be nothing more enticing than enjoying a meal @ a terrace
lounge. With a plethora of options in the city to choose from, it isn’t easy
for a food lover to decide where to head to.  Enter Sublym,
a boutique dining
restaurant managed by Shreya Hospitality Services that offers diners
not just

great food but an exceptionally beautiful ambiance. The restaurant is
located in Gurgaon Sector 29 which also shares space
with eminent food joints and reputed lounge bars.

 
Reaching the place is not so difficult. While you
enter the wide parking area on a weekend, chances you are you might struggle
for parking, but on a weekday there is ample space to park. The entire building
of Sublym looks different from any other restaurant. We took the lift and
reached the first floor where we were greeted by the hospitable attendants.
 
The place
sparkled with contemporary and aesthetic interiors with a well-defined fine
dine area. The tone was kept low with shades of grey and white signifying the name
‘sublime’. LED lights in every corner gave a hint of softness to the ambiance. The
space was enough to take care of a large gathering. Tables with enough space
were well placed to give diners space and comfort to enjoy their meal. The bar
at the far end consisted of expert bartender making exotic mocktails and
cocktails. We sat next to a window overlooking the vibrant crowd outdoors. 
 
The menu card handed to us comprised of a veritable
treat of Indian and Pan-Asian cuisines that covered succulent dishes like dimsums, Murgh Malai Tikka,
cold Vietnamese rolls, Thai puchkas. I was very inquisitive to try the
Thai puchkas.
 
The conventional puckhas were given a twist with an
infusion of Thai flavors. It tastes heavenly if you try them in the traditional
way of eating puchkas. The filling is as enticing as the flavored water made
with jaggery which makes the dish taste delicious. 
 
The next appetizer we
ordered was the water chestnut. The sweet and tangy flavor matches the crisp covering of the dish. We ordered
for the sole fish as our next
appetizer. The sole fish is tender and soft that explains the extra care taken
while marinating the fish overnight. 
 
I relished the Tom Kha soup at Sublym. The rich coconut flavor is as appealing as the well cooked vegetables. My family ordered the schezwan soup that had a very dominant flavor of ginger and garlic which tasted divine. 
 
We went upstairs to be awe struck by a beautiful terrace.
The potted plants are placed on the terrace that open and close with a remote.
A bright starry night on a full moon night can be enjoyed while relishing a candle
lit dinner. The DJ makes the experience more cherishable while playing the
latest numbers that get you on the dance floor.  
 
The chef recommended us to try the Chinese Garden Greens as our main
course dish. We chose Chilli Garlic
Friend Rice With Basil and Pad Thai Noodles to accompany the dish.
The former gives true justice to the Chinese main land with its consistent flavor
of basil in every bite. This dish is highly recommended for people who love their
vegetables stir fried and dry. The dish comes without gravy, so you need to
choose it accordingly. The authentic flavor of Thai echoes very well in the dish.
 
I was filled to the brim but still kept my palette
prepared for the dessert. We ordered for a Date
Pancake With Ice Cream. The date filled pancake mingles well with the
vanilla ice cream. The crispiness of the pancake is as enticing as the filling.
The sweetness of the dessert was as heartwarming as the entire food review.

I would recommend Subyme for a fine dining experience that
shall linger on for a long time. Sublym is the experts in hospitality
