Vessel Redefined – an exhibition of contemporary ceramic art at Terra Forma, Vivanta by Taj-Dwarka

The latest entrant to the
Taj family in Delhi marked the second season of ceramic art exhibition, Vessel
Redefined at “Terra Forma”, the modern ceramics walk through gallery that houses
signature works of the country’s leading c
eramic expression artists.

Vessel Redefined” is an ode to the art of clay that brings together the recent
works of nine ceramic artists from across India. 
 
The third edition of ceramic
art exhibition since its launch, Vessel Redefined will showcase stunning art
works of artists Thomas Louis, Deepika Talwar, Veena
Chandran, Perin Jacob, Nehal Rachh, Mudita Bhandari, Falguni Bhatt, Devyani
Smith and Anniruddh Sagar from 19th November, 2015 to 19th January, 2016.
 
Terra Forma a design forward space is
aesthetically synonymous with the hotel’s design savvy persona. This first of
its kind gallery for contemporary ceramic art in a hotel realizes the brands
endeavour to bring back the personalized experience of viewing art.
 
Speaking on the occasion,
Mr. Anil Malhotra, General Manager, Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka said, “We
are proud and honored to host Vessel Redefined an exhibition of 
ceramic art at Terra Forma, our dedicated ceramic
art gallery at the hotel. With a terrific line up of artists showcasing their
work we hope for its success, like the maiden season. With each successful
season, our vision of celebrating and bringing back the culture of art
appreciation is being realized.”

Curator added, “Vessel redefined is
tribute to the craftsman and the masters of our contemporary times who
generously gave technique, inspiration and paved way where there was none. The
‘pot’ today has undergone a metamorphosis conceptually as well as
aesthetically. Various artists and craftsmen playing a small part in the big
picture it is. As I see it, the time is now very exciting for Ceramics in
India. With an ever increasing number of artists working in the medium, we are
inching towards a new era.”
