Fitness is fun with Aqua Aerobics @ Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi

This summer, sweat it out at the
most happening hotel in Delhi. Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi celebrates
Global Wellness Week, to make fitness fun with aqua aerobics. The International
celebration of health and wellness includes a session of aqua aerobics by
renowned fitness

trainer Kiran Sawhney. Kiran Sawhney, the personal fitness
trainer comes with over two decades of experience in water aerobics, including
aqua zumba, pilates and kickboxing.

The media fraternity and guests
were invited on Tuesday, 7 June, 2016 to experience the fun side of fitness.
Aqua
Aerobics offers multiple health benefits for any fitness level and helps in
increasing the overall physical fitness, it helps in weight reduction and
toning up the body, ensuring the joints and cardiovascular system are protected
during the exercise.
The one-hour session of Aqua
Aerobics with techno music was indeed helpful in burning 850 calories.
The water
resistance increases the intensity of the exercise making the body less prone
to injuries. The technical explanation for this is that since water is 12-14
times thicker than air, the movements carried on in water create a greater
impact on the body.
The session started with basic
walking on the pool floor followed by cardio and core strengthening exercises.
As opposed to other workout routines, I loved Aqua Aerobics.

aerobics classes that are available from 3rd June 2016 on every Tuesday and
Friday evening until 31 July, 2016.
