My Best Friend and Me – A Fashion Extravaganza @ The Hyatt Regency Delhi

The last week closed with a fabulous exhibition titled ‘My Best Friend and Me’ at Hyatt Regency. Partnered by Shopwati, the exhibition was frequented by various fashion enthusiasts that could be seen almost
listlessly, as if under a spell.
The curator-founders Dipali and Anubhav Bhasin put together the chic exhibition.

The result was a thought-provoking and visually stunning show
that brought in a record-breaking number of visitors.

The exhibition focused on clothing and jewelry in all its fashionable detail. The clothes were mostly and interestingly displayed through the labels.

‘My Best Friend and Me’ wasn’t like any other fashion exhibition. As I wandered at the precious showcase of designer dresses and ethnic wear, my awe was already shading into unease. The ethnic collection from Sanam-Tamanna of Dubai was exceptionally beautiful; they’re as close to being works of art as fashion ever comes.

The section on jewelry from Kajall Gangwani and
semi-precious picks from Aquamarine was in perfect contrast to the smooth
serenity of the fashion showcase by designers. I found the two elements in
perfect harmony.

Designers at the exhibition ensured their clothes worked all
the way around, and what I love about the best of them is the summer friendly
fabric. They would suit women of any sizes.

I came across a Stylish western wear from designer Rina Dhaka
that would make any woman fly, metaphorically if not literally. I gazed at it and
unable to resist, I saluted it with my mobile phone.

I was also enchanted by a faceted jewelry piece from FDCI’s Aartivijay Gupta glazing with a modern design that
got me weak in the knees.

Adding a delectable sweet nothing was G’s Patisserie that
displayed scrumptious cupcakes, Brownies, fresh cakes and much more.

The showcase was a huge success with exhibitors and fashion lovers exchanging contacts with each other.
