Nawabi Andaaz @ Hotel Pride Plaza Aerocity

Indian cuisine invokes images of
rich, aromatic flavors, succulent tandoori delicacies and scrumptious sweet
desserts. They have a wonderful way of enticing all the senses! My recent visit
to the Blogger’s table at Pride Plaza hotel was an unforgettable experience
where the perfect conjugation still creates a symphony in my mind.

Located at Aerocity, the hotel
boasts of a luxury segment property with frequent footfalls of regular transit
fliers. The lobby of the hotel is as enticing as the background music of
traditional classic music that creates a pleasant expression on the guest’s
face. I walk towards the all day café of the hotel that had a Nawabi festival
of culinary delights.

The restaurant is among the
stalwarts of the Indian fine-dining restaurants. So as I walk inside the beautiful
looking restaurant, the General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Pankaj Mathur
welcomes us with warmth and hospitality.

The 100 cover restaurant has a
charming appeal that transcends you to a romantic place and fills your heart
with contentment.  The whitewashed dining
room impresses you with its subtle hues that heighten the aesthetic impact of
the food.
The Café Pride is an uber chic
fine dining restaurant that looked beautiful with the natural light coming from
the large window sil. The Thumri classical music plays in the background, which
adds to the Lukhnow dining experience.

A beautiful plate decorated with
my name is displayed on the plate with chocolate powder that immediately
impressed me. A welcome drink in the form of Khus Ka Sharbat is served that
plays the perfect role in quenching my thirst.

The table is spacious enough to
cover a large spread of the food. The servers began serving the delicacies.

A plate of Vegetarian starters like Rajma ki galouti Kabab, Kele ke Gular
kabab, Malai Moti ki Seekh, Mawa mawe ke kabab, Hara Dalcha Kabab.  I loved the  moistness in Malai Moti ki Seekh. They were
the most delectable Kababs I have ever tasted.

The next plate that was served to
us were the Non veg starters that comprised of Galouti Kabab, Nukhti Kabab,
Murgh ke Parchey, Murgh Shammi Kabab, Mahi Gilafi Seekh. Murgh Ke Parchey is
serious Indian comfort food that echoes perfection in taste and flavor quite
well.
The main course that later followed was Murgh
Bemisal that remind you of the pleasure that simple chicken dish can give. The Paneer Lavanglata goes extremely well
with Naan, a buttery crisp roti or a lachhaa parantha.
Special mention must be made of
the Kofti Dum Biryani. The aromatic and fluffy rice is presented in alluring small
brass pots that has the rich flavors of saffron and spices.
Bagiche Ki Subziyan is another
favorite that my family loved. There’s something gratifying about the flavors
and texture of this dish. Garam masala adds heat and spice while the cinnamon
and clove smell heavenly.

Murgh
Koh-Awadh has the perfect conjugation of onions and tomatoes mixed with tender
chicken that create a succulent flavor, while the spices elevate the dish to
something special.

The dessert was very impressive. Gulkand
aur chane ki Jugalbandi is grounded by kesari Gulab ki phirni and dudhiya badam
halwa while elaichi ke jamun gives the perfect flavor of cardamom and saffron that
add a unique twist to the traditional Indian dessert. It’s a wonderful way to
end an Indian meal. The surprise in the end came in the form of a paan that
complimented the entire experience.
